The East Bay Recorder Society (EBRS) is an association of recorder enthusiasts in the San Francisco Bay area. Recorder players from beginning to advanced levels are invited to join, to play music together and to learn more about the recorder with a different professional conductor each month (September-May or June).

Marin Headlands workshop is returning to Berkeley, May 18th to conclude our 2023/2024 playing season. Hooray for our conductors Tish, Frances, Andy and Greta!

Headlands 2024

Our 2024/2025 season membership form will soon be uploaded to our "Join Us!" page. However, it is our usual policy that if you wish to attend for a first time as a non-member, it is free (with a charge for additional monthly or special meetings thereafter until you join).

We are anticipating that our upcoming season will have a Fall Workshop. Rotem Gilbert has agreed to lead our Fall Workshop on Oct 14, 2024, Monday, Columbus/Indigenous Peoples' Day. Stay tuned for the list and dates of our conductors in the new season and for more details of special events, beginning with Rotem’s leading our Fall Workshop.

The East Bay Recorder Society makes this work available to the recorder community in commemoration of Eileen Hadidian.  It may be used freely for any non-commercial purpose.  This compilation of accessible music for amateur ensembles includes duets, trios, quartets and a quintet drawn from a wide variety of public domain sources.
